“Peçallarga” is situated
in the Pre-Pyrenees, 1.100 m high, and placed in a very beautiful
landscape in the municipal district of Ogassa, former mining town
of Ripollès .
It is a country estate with 8 hectares
of land, with its own forest and stream. It is surrounded by a landscape
of pine trees, holm oaks and oak trees among other species.
Formerly named as Mas el Plà,
it has been inhabited since 1668 by the Vilalta family which are
still the owners since it has been inherited from parents to children
throughout generations.
Since its beginnings, it has been
an agricultural and livestock exploration. The livestock consists
of cows and poultry and rabbit breeding and the agriculture consists
of vegetable garden products and pastures for the cattle.
